Celebrate Filipino heritage with the Bahay Kubo Piña-cocoon Barong, skillfully handcrafted in Lumban, Laguna by talented artisans.
This traditional Barong Tagalog features iconic symbol of rural Filipino life, indigenous culture, and resourcefulness - the "Bahay Kubo" embroidery. Meaning "little nipa house", it is the Philippines traditional house constructed from bamboo and topped with a thatched roof of nipa leaves, all handmade by local carpenters. "Bahay Kubo" is also known as a Tagalog-folk song about a small nipa house surrounded by different kind of vegetables - a song that is known to all Filipinos as kids - being sung as a nursery rhyme.
This iconic Bahay Kubo Barong is made from piña-cocoon fabric and lined with organza silk, this barong offers a harmonious blend of enduring style and comfort for those who appreciate meaningful craftsmanship.
